We wanted a product that would be both unique and better our future. Our mission statement is “To provide comfort and security to not just our feet, but to what matters most to us.” We live this statement in our work by making a quality sock and for attempting to make our future just a little bit better with our quarter program. A program where we donate $0.25 of every sock sold to bettering our Great Lakes. 


We believe in Made in U.S.A. with everything we do. We design our socks in the great state of Michigan. Our cotton is U.S.A. grown and dyed in North Carolina. North Carolina companies then sew and finish our socks. It takes multiple companies to create these socks, but every one of those companies are hard-working American companies. Designed in mind for Michigan, made entirely in the U.S.A. 


Why Great Lakes Shark? My grandfather would always say, “You can travel the world looking for the bluebird, but all along he was hiding in your back yard.” This world of ours is beautiful, but there is no place more beautiful than home. Our family calls the Great Lakes home and our last name is Shark.
